February 10, 2024: By popular demand, added a search feature. Not sure that I love it, but I don't hate it. The image search seems pretty okay, not as sure about the web search. I may tinker with the formatting some but I think it's good enough for a start.
January 9, 2024: Here's your once a year update letting you know that everything's still moving along as normal. Not really anything new to add... most of the updates are either adding new 5th edition releases or international products that I manage to pick up. Still working (off and on) on adding full size scans of maps but that's definitely more of a side project.
January 14, 2023: I guess this will be my annual-ish reminder that the site is still very active with a fairly steady stream of updates occuring. It's still mostly 5th edition and international releases that are seeing the most action as the other areas are pretty filled in. Adding scans for the fold-out maps is one of my off and on projects, but steady progress continues on those. Thanks to everyone who has taken a moment to email me about typos or other corrections. Much appreciated!
October 10, 2021: Yikes! Sorry I don't update this page very often but rest assured that the site is constantly being updated... it's rare that a week passes without multiple additions and edits. International and 5th edition are probably the most active though I have been going back and doing more scans of components and maps from older editions. Also adding more material in the "other games" category like Skyrealms of Jorune, Metamorphosis Alpha, Macho Women with Guns and Bunnies & Burrows not to mention some fairly thorough World of Darkness pages.
April 3, 2019: So updates are still going on regularly, just nothing major at this point. I did add a couple of new sections, including Star Wars RPG (WotC) and Dragon Dice. Otherwise still working on d20 material, filling in missing items and adding to the international D&D section as I manage to acquire new stuff.
August 8, 2018: Little updates are still going on, almost daily. Also started tackling the d20 material! I've started with some of the bigger publishers and will work my way down... still tinkering with format at this point and not sure how I want to handle the companies with only a few products. Mostly getting lists done first, then I'll go back and add products. As always, please let me know if you spot any errors!
February 11, 2018: Just a quick note to say still here, still updating. Nothing major to report as it's mostly down to filling in single items here and there. Biggest changes are still to the international sections as that's what I've actively been buying the past couple of years. 3rd Edition section and Forgotten Realms 2nd Edition are the last two major chunks that I'm working on... once those are done it will strictly be corrections and new acquisitions!
September 3, 2017: Nothing much to report... still lots of updates going up daily-ish. Almost finished with 1st/2nd edition, knocking out the last of the Forgotten Realms stuff and a few strays. I've been adding to other non-TSR and non-D&D sections as well, mostly to break up the monotony. Added Dungeon Crawl Classics page and Cyberpunk. Next big undertaking will be 3rd edition, which will pretty much finish up all of the D&D! After that... not sure, but there's still plenty to go!
April 22, 2017: So again, it's been a while since I updated the What's New page, but have been doing lots and lots of updates. 4th Edition is mostly complete except for a few strays. International sections are as complete as possible for the time being, but I'm actively buying non-US versions and adding them as they come in. I've finished off a couple more 2nd edition campaign settings, put up a bunch of Buck Rogers and Indiana Jones items and added the first two non-D&D pages... Paranoia and Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay. So yeah, I'm keeping pretty busy!
November 4, 2016: Haven't updated the What's New page lately, but the page updates have been pretty continuous. Focusing on 4th Edition material at the moment, mostly because I don't think it's been covered very well anywhere. I'll probably be working backwards from there, although a good amount of 1st and 2nd Editions are already done. Also added a couple of new international sections... the more I look, the more I find!
July 5, 2016: The last of the international sections is now up! Please keep the updates and corrections coming in. I think that this is really shaping up to be a great resource for international collectors. Now the work begins on the product pages!
June 12, 2016: Well I wanted to wait until I was completely finished to post the international section but it's taking WAY longer than I anticipated so I've decided to go ahead and post what I've got so far. Doing the research on these has been a lot of fun but it's also given me an enormous sense of how much I still have to go! Please feel free to offer any corrections or additions that I may have missed. If you're a fluent speaker please let me know about any typos... I know that they're in there! Once I finish up the remaining sections I'll finally start the process of filling in products pages. Not sure where to start on those yet....
April 21, 2016: With some reluctance I've posted the Miscellaneous TSR section today. This is defintely not my area of expertise so any suggestions or corrections are more than welcome here! I also recently posted the Non-TSR sections. Please note that these are DEFINITELY not attempting to be complete listings for ALL RPGs, just some random stuff that I'm personally fond of. I'll be working to fill these sections out a bit more later. All of the d20 material will eventually end up here. Enjoy!
April 3, 2016: Hi there! It's been a while, huh? If it's your first time seeing the TSR Archive then welcome. If you've been a fan for a while then thanks for your patience. It's been almost ten years since my last update and I think a couple of new products my have come out during that time.

I want to take just a moment to tell a little of the history of the TSR Archive. Back in the late nineties I was really starting to get in to collecting D&D. Now I'd been a player since the early eighties and was pretty obsessive about buying everything new as it came out but as time passed I got a little more selective. My OCD nature finally got the better of me and I felt the need to go back and fill in the missing products. I turned to the internet to see what I had missed and found... not a whole lot of help. Sure, there was a lot of information out there but what I really wanted was an all-in-one, organized list and I couldn't find one. So I decided to do it myself.

Pulling information from my own personal collection, digging through catalogs, searching for scraps of random data from various sites I starting putting my list together. Just about the time the site was going live at the end of 2000 I stumbled across a new site called The Acaeum. I almost scrapped my whole project right then and there as it looked like they had it covered. Their focus on OD&D and first edition, however, seemed to leave the field wide open for second edition and the then brand-new third edition. I can't possibly give enough credit to all of the fine folks over at The Acaeum for all the help they've been over the years. I'd say it's easily the best D&D collector's site on the internet.

As time wore on and I became busier and busier with work and kids my time for updates became scarce. Eventually it fell by the wayside and many of the plans I had for it never came to pass. What I didn't realize at the time (or, for that matter, for some time to come) was how widely used my little checklist would become. I'm immensely flattered that it's considered one of the primary references for D&D collectors out there. A huge thanks to everyone who helped me make it as thorough and accurate as it is!

Now that the kids are older and I have a smattering of free time here and there I decided that it was time to get around to all those updates I wanted to do back then. The intention was always to create a TSR archive, not just a D&D archive. It's probably going to be a while before the "under construction" banner comes down but I'm going to be working on at least getting all the lists up, with product pages to follow as fast as I can manage. I hope you like the new format but if not you can still find the original TSR Archive in several different location around the internet, most notably at tsr.bothgunsblazing.com. [Edit: link no longer active.] Thanks for keeping it alive during my absence! And, again, thanks to everyone out there who has contributed over the years!
